Coupon organizer?

Hey ladies

This is kinda random, but I figure some of you might have good ideas. When I was a kid I remember that my mom had some kind of plastic folder with different compartments to sort her coupons.

Back home the grocery stores all had coupons when you walk in the store so I would just take the ones I needed then.

Now, DH buys the paper and on Sundays there are a ton of flyers with a lot of coupons. Yesterday, we went through them and I cut a bunch out. We used a few yesterday, but I have a lot that are just sitting in my purse.

What do you ladies do to sort coupons? Do you know where I could find something that would fit easily in my purse or wallet? Should I just keep them in an envelope?

thanks ladies. ?

Re: Coupon organizer?

  • I have an index card box...got it at walmart. Its the smaller one, there were two sizes at mine. Then I bought little index card dividers and put labels on them with the different categories in the grocery store. It makes it very easy to organize your coupons. I normally dont carry it around in my purse bc its kinda big.

  • My mom bought me an organizer at a Hallmark store. It's specifically for coupons and it's small enough that I can fit it in my purse!! It's great, I just need to use it more :)
  • I've seen them at Hallmark, the dollar store, CVS, Target - usually in the office supply section  - and at Staples, marketed as an index card organizer.  They are usually only a couple of dollars and very compact.

  • I have a coupon organizer that I got from Target in the dollar section.  I usually forget that I have and wind up putting all the coupons in a sandwich bag that stays in my purse.
  • We have one of those accordion like mini-organizer and it works really well...if we ever remember to put coupons in it or take it to the store lol

  • We dont use coupons.  I am just to lazy to keep up with them and then to have to sort them out at the store.  But I do keep all of our bills in a mini accordian like organizer.  It is definatly small enough to put inside of my purse and it works great.  It came with blank labels to slip in the dividers.  I do beleive that we bought it at walmart.
