Personal Trainer Questions
Does anyone know a personal trainer that will come to your house? I want to get in shape, but I don't want to have to join a gym. Are their personal trainers that come to your house and show you some exercises you can do at home, and will help instruct you and tell you what to do during the week, and what I should and shouldn't be eating?
Re: Personal Trainer Questions
H used to do in-home personal training. The PT comes as many times as you want them to come to your house a week. They usually bring their own equipment and show you what you should be doing on your own if you don't have them come 3-4 times a week.
You should make sure that the PT has a degree in something fitness related. They should also be able to provide you with an updated fitness certification.
If the PT is telling you what you should/shouldn't be eating they should have a degree in nutrition. Otherwise, you can't really know for sure that they're telling you the right thing.
There are plenty of website that can tell you what to eat, but it really depends on what you want to do and how your body works. You should eat a certain number of calories depending on your height, weight, BMI and your goals. Minimally, you should eat 1,200 calories/day...anything lower is considered anorexic.
I eat anywhere between 1500 and 1800 calories per day cut up into 5 or 6 meals. I found that works best for me because I feel like I'm constantly eating and never really 'starving'. When I'm starving is when I usually opt for something quick and bad for me.
My Fiancee is a personal trainer...he doesn't come in home but his business is strictly personal training and not an open gym. You make and appt and come in at your time and he will be working with just you.
He has a college degree in personal training and not one of those weekend certifications and I'm not saying this b/c he's my fiancee but he knows his stuff and loves his job.
He's located on the Black horse pike in the turnersville area....if you interested let me know. Oh and yes if you want he will give you programs to follow when your not training with him and also review your nutrition
Do you know where the old Lone Star use to be? It's next to that or across from Outback and Carabas...next to Abbots florist in the MLG business center. One of the other girls on thenest just started training with him (don't want to give peoples names just in case)
The website is www.elevateyourtraining.com if you want to check out the rates and all.....he's been training for over 7 years in the area. Ooh and his name is Drew.
