Being home feels so good

I made it home safely, yay!  After another scare with flights courtesy of the lovely agent in Dallas that was oh-so-not-helpful, she managed to cancel my return flight while I was stuck in Dallas on the way to Hawaii.

Hawaii was gorgeous,  but I wish I was there with DH.  I missed him and home a lot and learned that traveling for 9 days without him is something I really don't like doing, especially for work.  Sharing paradise is much better with him.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys the sunshine!

Re: Being home feels so good

  • Glad to read you are home safe and sound, Stacey!  SO went to Hawaii a few weeks ago to visit his brother and unfortunately I wasn't able to go along due to my job Sad.  I made him promise he would take me back!

Are you able to take a day or two off to recover before getting back into daily life?

  • I'm supposed to have class tomorrow but I'm so tired/need to do laundry and DH is begging me to stay home, so I might take the day off.  Recovery time is key.

  • I totally understand.  I hate traveling without Brad and I had a horrible time with flights when I flew for work the last time.
