We just found out that one of the couple's who attended our wedding eloped in Vegas (he surprised her with the whole thing!). They have not sent out any form of announcement and have kept it all very quiet. I did pick up a nice card to send but...
1) Should we also send a gift to them?
2) If so, should we send a gift along the lines of what they gave us or, a smaller token?

Re: What would Feb09 do?
I'd say send a card.?
If they are people you are really close to, and they gave you a really nice gift, maybe give them something similar (or a $/gift card equivalent?)
If ?they aren't super close to you then I think just the card is fine. If you feel like you should get them something (but not the same kind of something you would give them if you went to an actual wedding) then maybe a $25 gift card to Red Lobster or something... that way they can treat themselves to dinner. ?
