summer vacays?
I'm bored. Can you tell?
So, where is everyone going on vacation this summer? I know some ladies are going on their HM (DH & I are supposed to be in Costa Rica this week actually, but we had to cance =( so sad!).....
But we are going to Englewood, FL to go fishing for a week in July (hopefully if my mean boss lady will give me the dang week off!)

After that, nothing major since DH is using all of his vacation time for the HM. But, he says we can do a long weekend (4 day) in September so, we'll think about that soon :-)

My 10 yr high school reunion is this summer too.
As far as traveling, well, if I get my travel documents in time, I will be going to the reunion (June 20, back in Canada) I would be going alone, as DH has a conference in Kentucky that same weekend. (If I can't go back to Canada then, I might go with him)
As soon as I can travel to Canada, I will be going for at least a couple weeks, so I can see my family.
In August we have to be out on Long Island for a wedding that DH is a groomsman in (for friends of ours that live here, but her family is all down there). And we're talking about going camping for a weekend sometime, probably somewhere in the Adirondacks.
Memorial Day weekend we will be in Boston to see the Mets play the Red Sox. And the last weekend in June is the Subway series between the Mets and Yankees at Citi Field, so we will definitely try to see one of those games. ?
And the weekend after Labour Day is the weekend that we met, at an event called Amerada. this year it is held up in Niagra Falls (on the Canada side). We'll be going there!?

I have ALWAYS wanted to go there!
Let's see, I will be slaving in the hospital 80hrs a week starting in late June, so there will be no summer vacation for me
But then again, boo freakin hoo, because I will be (finally) earning a paycheck and doing what I love. Except for the 80hrs a week thing, it's hard to love anything when you're working that much!
I do get 4 weeks vacation per year, and BIL and his wife just bought a house on Long Island in Southampton, so I'd like to go out there but I doubt I will even get any time off until the end of 2009. Of the life of a medicine resident!
So I will be taking notes on where you ladies all go and love so that when I have the time and money I can travel!
Meg & Carrie (and anyone else interested) - if its wine tasting you are looking for, there is a lovely area about 1 hour from me and I am all for a wine gtg! haha

We will be journeying to Conn. for my cousin's wedding in July, and since Kevin is off from work the following week (its the factory shut-down), we plan on taking our time to get home. Other than that, we'll see, maybe a little weekend to Philly...?
