Wow! Go me!
Last night I went to the Yokota Officer's Spouses Club meeting for the 1st time. I figured it was a good way to meet a few more people on base, and just get out of the house. We played "blingo"- bingo while wearing your "bling" and black dresses. I thought it was a cute theme and it was fun (although finding a cute, little black dress, shopping at Japanese stores w/ tiny sized clothes, while 6 mo prego is a challenge). Anyway, we had a very nice dinner and then played 11 games of bingo. I had nothing on any of those games on my card. The 12th and final game was blackout, and it was for the big prize. I never thought I'd win- that is so NOT my luck- but guess what? I DID! I won the blackout game and my prize was a beautiful string of Japanese cultured pearls!!! They are from a famous pearl shop in Roppongi (the "it" district of Tokyo). I am one lucky girl!!!?
