Red Swan
Didn't we discuss Red Swan on here a few months ago? I sent some stuff in to them on either Thursday or Friday and I got my check in the mail today. it was for $176.24, not too bad for some old junk that's been sitting in my jewelry box!
I don't wear any yellow gold anymore, so I sent in a few old charms, a couple earrings that didn't have a match, an old heart shaped pendant & chain that the girls' dad gave me and my high school ring.

Oo thanks for mentioning this! I'll have to check it out. I have a couple of older pieces of jewerly that I don't wear and we could always use some extra cash to put towards a much needed vacation!
Is $176 around what you expected? I have two better pieces that were over $500 each. I saw that if you're not completely satified with the amount they give you, you can ask for it back, but is it even worth to send something more expensive or is there a better way to sell it?
I was hoping for more, but I wasn't expecting that much, if that makes sense. Of course I wanted to get a lot for it because who doesn't like "money for nothing", but I've sold old gold before and know not to expect full retail value for it. All of it has been sitting in a jewelry box in my parents' basement for at least 4 years now, so I'm going to take the $176 and be happy with it. None of was particularly nice or anything special. My mother had a few smart comments to make because she thinks I should have kept the necklace from my ex to give to my daughters and she thinks I should have held on to my high school ring. Seriously? I haven't looked at it once since about 3 months after getting it in 1994!
If I can get this PIP to work, this is what I sent in - except for the necklace on the right and the 2 other rings.
