Driveway Paving

My driveway is in pretty bad shape and I know it will need to be torn up in spots and repaved in the near future. My neighbor had hers repaved today and they gave me an estimate to have mine done. If they do it tomorrow (when they come back to do another neighbor) it's $1500.  If they come another day it's $1800. My driveway is about 4 car lengths and then has another car length turn around spot.  I think it sounds like a good deal and so does my dad but I'm nervous about making a hasty decision, especially when a lot of money is involved.  I may wait and pay the extra $300.

Oh, and the company is JW Paving...anyone heard of them?  WWYD????

Re: Driveway Paving

  • Are they just doing a new top coat? Or actually re-doing the whole driveway?  When we had our driveway re-top coated the other year we spent around $250.  Our neighbors had an extension put on their driveway and I  believe it cost a good bit, so $1500 doesn't sound bad if they are doing the whole thing (no just top coat).
