I knew this day would come...
So I knew that one day David would try to drink out of the dog's water dish. I was thinking that he would lick it out of the bowl, mimicking the dog. Nope, my child needs to be different/unique. He goes into the kitchen cabinet, grabs a large serving spoon, dips it into the water and drinks it like soup. Yep, this is my child.
Right now, he is playing golf with the dog's stuffed animals and his plastic golf club (which he also uses to knock things off of the tables that are taller than him).
Re: I knew this day would come...
INGENIOUS! He really thought that process through, good for him, I really think he's going to be an engineer!
The dog bowls are our biggest battle, Cate slaps the water, laughs, then licks her fingers. It's the only thing she's really been in trouble for, I smacked (read tapped) her hand b/c I told her no 3 times and all 3 times she looked at me while doing it, she tried very hard to force out tears and then laughed and walked away.
Caro, we've had those battles too. He's finally stopped dumping her water bowl. His new thing is taking her empty food dish to the office (where the dog food is kept) and filling up her dish. However, he doesn't quite fill it up but instead dump the kibbles all over the floor.
Speaking of which, he is doing it right now.
My sister can't come soon enough today. She'll, hopefully, be here in an hour.
OMG, that made me ROFLOL. I got funny looks from my CWs...
I love it - he's so intelligent and it's got to be insanely hard to stay mad BECAUSE he's so creative and smart.
