Hair conditioner?

My hair is always so dry, especially at the ends.  I also use a straightening iron almost everyday.  Can anyone recommend a conditioner that really worked well for you?

Re: Hair conditioner?

  • I use Bed Head Foxy Curls. it smells so good. but since your hair is straight maybe whatever Bed Head makes for straight hair?

I also use bio silk (which looks and feels like lube). LOL but it helps to make my hair smoother with less frizzies and it adds shine. you just need a few drops.

have you also thought of a spray on leave-in conditioner? I have one called Soy Tri-wheat. ?http://www.sleekhair.com/2941.html?

?I got all of them at ?Fantastic Sams.?

  • Another good leave in is Nexxus Humectress, it makes your hair soooo soo silky feeling, but Bio Silk I here works great.  What about John Freida Frizz-ease products.  I think you apply to wet hair, mainly on the ends.
  • I use Garne Fructise (sorry about the spelling) or Herbal Essences, but I also straighten my hair everyday too.  I use Mattrix Heat Glide spray before I iron each section, it protects your hair so it's not as dry (my hair will usually look frizzy still if I don't use this).  HTH.
  • My hair is dry too probably because of the constant coloring but its a necessity.  For this I am always on the hunt for a good conditioner too.  I only wash about twice a week and I use Chi silk infusion serum which is awesome.  I put about a quarter size at the most on my hair before I dry it and it leaves it nice and silky plus I love the smell.
  • I am a believer in the Chi silk infusion stuff as well - it is amazing!  I have been rotating conditioners for so long to try to find a good one, right now I am onto Pantene Beautiful Lengths and it seems pretty good...
  • Thanks for all of the suggestions!!!

  • I use Joico DAILY CARE (its a light conditioner but does a GREAT job) also, after I have towel dried my hair I spritz in a little product called "1 shot" by FUDGE - basically a light treatment spray for dry hair.  I use it because in the summer I'm in the pool and sun a lot and my hair starts to wig out. this stuff is one of those thing i HAVE to have with me whether at home or on vacation...a must in my world and i LOVE IT

  • I use K-PAK by Joico....I use the shampoo, conditioner, and  the Reconstructor. I've been using it for about 8 months and my hair is great. I color my hair religiously ever 6wks and I flat iron it every day.I also use some Paul Mitchell stuff, and biosilk. I totally recommend K-PAK, its expensive though. I spent about $60 on a little thing of shampoo, conditioner & the reconstructor. But my hair dresser always says my hair looks really healthy and its in good condition, so that makes it worth it to me. DH had a fit when he found out how much I spent  =)....but it really is worth it!
