If you work in Philly or close to, lunch: 6/3

I probably should have made the post below more detailed... duh, Erin!

So, if you work in Philly, work nearby, or from home and want to take a drive, join a few of us for lunch on Wed., June 3rd at 12.15! I'll get a head-count closer to the date.

Any suggestions of where to go???...

  • Maggianos has family style ;)  Don't know if that would take too long, though!  LaScalas (Italian) at 7th & Chestnut is also nice.
  • El Vez, Fado, someplace with outdoor seating
  • Mexican Post (16th and Cherry) has lots of outdoor seating, same with the Marathon Grill on 20th(?) and Market.

Good suggestions so far, though! I am a sucker for Maggianos, El Vez, and Fado!

The Marathon Grill at 20th & Market closed.  The one at 16th & Sansom has some outdoor seating but not much.

No way! That was my favorite one because it had so much outdoor seating. Oh well....

I know, I used to love that Marathon Grill and my friend and I went one day at lunch and it was just gone.  They said they only got a lunch time crowd (which I could see) and it wasn't worth it to keep it open.  The one on Chestnut (between 13th & Broad) has a decent amount of outdoor seating.  Can you tell I love and frequent Marathon Grill? :)
  • I'm in!  I don't really care where we go.
  • I've never been to Marathon Grill, but I'd be up for anything.
  • I was just at the Marathon Grill on 19th and Market today for lunch...it's def. not closed!
  • I would like to attend, and I am available on 6/3.
