Good Morning Ladies!
How was the weekend? We had a great 4-day weekend! We took Thurs/Friday off and went camping (I wrote & put pictures in my new blog, incase you are really interested)...it was nice and relaxing. I'm dreading going into work this morning. If this monday is anything like last monday i'm def going to quit soon.
I rec'd a call from one of the positions I applied for . I got the call Friday while we were camping, so I didn't call the Dr. back...Honestly i'm a little nervous too, and i'm not sure if i'm going to. #1, I could barely understand some of his message, part of it I couldnt' understand and i'm going to have to listen to it again (he is indian, and there is nothing wrong with that, but I just have a really hard time with their accent)....#2, DH and I discussed sticking it out w/ our current jobs so that when we go to buy a house we will have had steady employment, 4 yrs for me, and 7 for him. ----So, now I don't know what to do.
So...annyways! Hope every has a quiet Monday!

Weekend was good. Saturday I ran a ton of errands, relaxed at home some and then took a long walk and had dinner with DH when he got home from work. Yesterday, we went to the Yankees game and it ended up gettign rained out but, we stood on the long line and exchanged our tickets for another game in July...yay!
Sting - If you are as unhappy in your job now as you have posted about, I think the change will be just fine.

Well, Saturday Kevin and I met with a realtor to start setting things up - by that afternoon, she had already made two appts to go look at houses with Kevin (because I was going home for the day)!!?
Sunday, I went to my little cousin's First Communion and it was so sweet, all the little ones dressed up. My cousin Cole looked particularly handsome, but since I forgot to put the battery back in my camera, I can't share. I had a great time visiting with my family. Kevin looked at the houses, they were both nice, but one our bed wouldn't fit in the master bedroom (we have a huge king size with a sleigh frame) and the other had no back yard, only a deck. Which Kevin wouldn't be happy with, because he wants to be able to garden.
Today we met with the realtor again - she is very?aggressive?and ?I love it. We are on a deadline here and I like that she is taking us seriously.?
The weekend was so good.?
When DH got home from his road trip we got back in the car and went out to dinner with another couple. It was great.
Saturday we slept in and spent most of the afternoon just cuddling. We went to the drive in with a few friends in the evening. Saw Wolverine and Taken (both really good movies).
Sunday we did some cleaning around the house. played some cards (just the two of us) and I cooked him dinner which we ate while watching poker on TV.
Today I am going to the gym with a friend and then playing poker tonight. Otherwise dishes and laundry. and I'm going to run to the store for baking supplies since I plan to bake tomorrow.?

But it was really good...we got to eat out and go see to Wolverine with a friend....good stuff! We cleaned the house, booked some flights, talked to my mom, planned out our menu for the week, went grocery shopping.

Jen-- sorry your game got rained out. Hopefully the weather will be better in July. ?And yeah, it was nice to have him around. Thankfully he has no more road trips for a while.?

Meag, that's soo exciting about the house hunt!! Keep us posted on things and what ya'll see and find out and plus any tips on buying a first home!! I know some of us who haven't gone through the process yet would love to know any tips or information about it!!!
We are going to be trying to buy the beginning of next year, I hope. That is my/our goal. I have told DH numerous times I want to get rid of his truck (that we don't drive, we have another truck we drive), and his motorcycle (that he/we haven't ridden in over a year)...and possibly our 4 wheeler.....We have the titles to the 4wheeler and truck, we just have to get the bike paid off...if we sell the truck we can pay off the bike w/ that money...
We kind of already have a house, my dad is a contractor and he builds houses near/on the water over in Hernando County. Well he has this house started and he wants us to buy it...we went and looked at it, and we have the plans to it.I REALLY want to buy the house, I LOVE the area the house is in. Ohh I can't wait to have a real house!

And I'm glad that it seems that everyone who saw Wolverine said it was good. I think I'm going to try to convince DH to go see it sometime soon, I know he wants to ( I do too).
I did a lot of shopping on Saturday, and did a bit of damage as usual. Not too bad though. We bought DH his suit for our cruise in five weeks, which is five weeks too long if you ask me.
We slept in a little bit on Sunday then went grocery shopping. Came home, I cooked a bit and baked. Then we just sat and watched movies the rest of the day. Oh, and DH made the best stake on the grill. It was so yummy!
I am absolutely as miserable as work as I say I am... I was dreading coming in today. Its just that i'm scared to change jobs, bc I know the banks look at job history or what not. I don' tknow how big of an impact that has? .... Im waiting to see if the place I really want to work is going to call me this week. If they call I will see what they have to offer, that position would be a slight pay cut, but there are benefits invovlved and so it almost is worth the pay cut....
Morning! My weekend was alright. Sat I had my best friends boyfriends college grad party which we partyed way to much! I am to old for all that..ha. So yesterday I woke up with a hang over combined with a lovely stomach bug...so we spent the day laying around on the couch doing pretty much nothing.
We cleaned our fish tank out cause it was gross and put the fish back did everything right and they all died! DH was so upset. We havent had any luck at all with them then we were finally doing good and bam...they all die in less than 3 hours. strange....
So i am at work being miserable...going to the bathroom every 10 mins..and cant go home.

I feel like I've been on a mini-vaca... kinda. The weekend was boring. I was sick so I called in on Friday and Sunday. I slept a lot. I had today off so I went shopping.
Sunday we had dinner with friends. We didn't get home til 1am. It was lots of fun, though. And I cooked penne pasta with shrimp and also made bruschetta. So I'm making progress with my culinary skills.
