So, last week I was complaining about not having any time. ?BUT over the weekend we got SO much done around the house. ?I'm so excited. ?Let's see. ?First off, we finished the formal living room and dining room (finished hanging pictures on the walls - the only thing left in the formal dining room is to get a new rug). ?Then I put the new faucet on my bathroom sink, then I hung the window treatments in both guest rooms, then we hung pictures on the walls of both guest rooms. ?THEN we finished unpacking the last box that we needed to unpack downstairs. ?Oh, and THEN we cleaned the entire house. ?I feel like my house is in order, FINALLY. ?We do have a few other boxes that aren't unpacked but they were the "things we don't use" boxes. ?They are in the attic. ?And I think I need to do a few other small things but we've gotten so much done, I'm pretty excited. ?I feel like I can enjoy the house, finally.
So what did you guys do this weekend??
Re: Weekend Accomplishments?
Kristi! Your shower was this weekend! How exciting.
Cleaned the house on Friday.
Renewed our Costco membership.
I worked in the front yard on Sunday, weeding...sucking up leaves, trimming bushes, etc. DH worked in the back yard, edging our pool with that black edging stuff and adding rocks. He also cut the lawn and removed some old yard lights that we are replacing.
Saturday I took my cat to the vet, got lunch with MH, donated some cat food to the animal shelter. Cleaned alittle, organized my attic (I know thats odd and random).
Sunday I did a 20 mile charity walk, had dinner with my husband and went to bed early lol.
A TWENTY MILE charity walk?! That's one hell of an accomplishment! How are you feeling now? Congrats!!!! I'm so excited for you! You know....all you need is six more miles and you'd be walking a marathon...

Friday, I barely remember. LOL I went home, worked out, and don't remember much.
Saturday we got up, got ready, and drove to Mke for the funeral. My car had the gasoline issues, so that was fun.
(It is slowly improving in performance.) Drop home from the funeral, walked the dog (I needed to stretch!), ordered some food, chilled.
Sunday was a lot of chill time. Caught up on TV we had taped, painted my toenails, did a French polish on my fingers, started hemming some jeans.
Thank you Val
I felt sore yesterday, today I feel much better. This is my fifth year doing this walk. I usually just plug along and don't stop, if I don't stop, I don't feel the pain lol. I know I should have walked home or something to make it 26!
