The view counter on TN is weird. I normally "view" every post a couple of times, I read it (view), post a response and then check in when I see more comments (view, view, view). Does they all count as views? If so, that number is so inflated. Number of people is a lot more interesting than how many times the ~15 of us went back.

Yeah that is annoying... but look, I can bullet what I don't like about it:

It's hard to tell when there are new posts, they always look bold
If it rolls over other aspects of TK I don't get why we are newbies with no posts.

I sort of like that it shows the "joined" date. Not that I expect a lot of AE's over here. I'm assuming its easier to add pictures too?

Yeah, from my limited experience, the text does get less bold but it's not as obvious as I'd prefer. The ones that get "starred" (but it's red here) are always bold, even if you've read it, and that's annoying.

I like that it shows the number of views, but I agree, the number of people who viewed it would be better.

I don't like all this mess on both sides of these posts. It's easier to hide at work if I can make the window smaller on my screen.

Yes, the number of people who viewed it would be a more accurate way to track our 409 stalkers. My photog's site lets me see how many people have signed on to view my pics--so far it is at 79 and I haven't even emailed anyone a reminder or put the info on FB for all to see.

There are just a bunch of nosey lurking biitches on the 409 knot board that don't post...which is fine, actually.
