It's pretty embarrassing...
That now everyone knows I joined in September of 07 but I did not get engaged until November 07.
Moreover, I don't recall this AT ALL.

Lol its OK ... I joined in Feb but didn't get engaged until March ... we can be shamed faced together ... lol
Or we could lie and say we joined as wedding party peeps ...
Yeah! That's it. I joined because my cousin got married and I was her MOH.

HA HA - SCORE I didn't join until months after engagement.
I do admit to wishing it wasn't Sun that said she was on here the month before engagment, because for some it would be more believeable that they were on NEY stating that they thought it was coming SOOON. Squeee 1111!!!! one 1111!!!!!
I'm right there with you - except I do remember joining before being engaged.
I used it to look up venues in the area during my pre-engagement research. I figure a little over a month before engagement isn't too bad.
No way - posting was not an option for me until I was engaged. Figured I could use the site as a research tool without jinxing myself.
Didn't know about NEY until after I posted on 409.
I joined in august and didnt get engaged till nov... lol
But in all fairness we were talking about marriage when i joined and didnt find the boards until 4 months after we were engaged!
Yeah, I didn't waste anytime in joining either. Engaged 5/9/08 and joined 5/13/08...we were in Niagara Falls without computer access, otherwise I might have joined sooner.
Never considered getting on TK sooner than engagement, because I wasn't engaged. Same with the nest and the bump....I'll go there when it becomes relevant to me.
I joined in Aug. '07 so I'm right there with ya. I was already engaged, but I didn't join the forums until January or Feb '08.
I always get it confused...is it NEY or NYE? I guess I could go look myself, huh?
