Apartment Question

Geez you must be sick of my apartment questions already....=(

Does anyone have a rant or rave about CIty Parc at Keller or Townlake of Coppell? Those are our two narrowed down choices. =) I can't wait to finally become a Texas transplant....I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb with my no R rule.; But I'm getting excited!

Re: Apartment Question

  • I know nothing about either of those apartment complexes, but just wanted to say 'hi'.  I'm a Southeastern MA/RI transplant who just moved to Fort Worth about 2 months ago.  My grandmother and 5 of my uncles live in Leominster and Fitchburg.  You know Donnelly's Tavern?

Good luck with all your moving plans!

  • I don't know City Parc, but I do know the two best apartments in Lewisville are The Abbey and Chapel Hill.  They are fancy and fabulous.  I love Lewisville by Vista Ridge Mall because it is near Coppell but also near tons of restaurants and shopping.

  • ksvend,

How do you like it so far? Pretty different from N.E. huh? I'm so scared to make the move! How is Fort Worth? I  have so many questions, I don't know where to start......

  • Between those two City Parc gets MUCH better reviews. This site has a lot of good user submitted reviews and info.?

  • It isn't as different here as I thought it would be - in two months I've only encountered a few people that have accents.  But I also have pretty much stayed in the city so I'm sure that accounts for it - a lot of transplants in the city.

If you have any more questions or want to get together when you're here email me at ksvend zero zero at hotmail.com

    Good luck!

  • Don't have any info about the apartment complexes but I currently live in Keller and I absolutely love it here!  It has a great small town feel but it is still close to Southlake and tons of great shopping.

Welcome to the area and good luck with the moving!

  • You ladies are awesome!

Can anyone tell me what most people do around there? Where I live I have to travel 30 minutes to the big cities to do anything good (food, movies, museum, etc) OR stay home. I know there are numerous parks, but is there a mall or is it just a small mom and pop shop community? I know there is Grapevine, but wondered more about Keller. I know they are renovating their library..how exciting!

I think we are going to go ahead and fill out the application. I love the property and am pleased with info I've gotten so far! Thank you!

  • Keller is super close to Southlake and there is tons of shopping in the Southlake Town Center area.  There is also a movie theater and tons of great eats in the same area.

I noticed in the Solano office park there is an outdoor concert series in the spring/summer.  I think that is actually located in Westlake.

Grapevine is great too with Grapevine Mills (outlet mall), Bass Pro Shops, and the downtown Grapevine area even has some bars!  It is a great historic type town.
