Re: Poll: Which Guest
My HS best friend's girl friend.
I had never met her before, and she knew no one there but her boyfriend, yet there was not a moment she wasn't out there dancing with me. Even without him. I wont lie I think she's part of the reason I had so much fun.
J's brother.
He's very southern, wouldn't fancy him a dancer by any means. As soon as J and I started dancing to this one song, BIL came up behind me and started dancing away. I quickly turned around and started dancing with him cause it was too funny (there are pics of this in my FB album). J was left to dance with my girls - it made everyone laugh.
I just wouldn't picture him that outgoing on the dance floor.
He also cried throughout the entire ceremony. Kept dabbing at his eyes. J couldn't see it - but I could.
My friend Cristin gave me a very thoughtful and expensive gift. I know she's hurting on cash and it was very unexpected. I tried to get her to take the money back, but she wouldn't.
Also, my photographer cried at the wedding. That was unexpected.
Anyone who gave us a gift valued at over $50 who wasn't directly responsible for our existence. For serious.
my dads co-workers... people i have met maybe 1 time in my life, gave us the kitchenaid mixer and a VERY VERY large check that was more than what we paid for the photog!
Seriously- more came from them than people i have known my entire life and who share the same blood as me!
DH's uncle's "partner" wore a bright purple suit. It was awesome.
DH's brother is one of the most shy people I've ever met, but he danced with me twice at the wedding and we talked more than we ever have - I really appreciated the gesture.
Phil's aunt. I had been made fun of by his family every time I told them we planned to do the chicken dance at the reception. When it came time, everyone got in a circle, my BMs and I made a small circle in the middle, and Cindy stood beside us. She had never ever done the chicken dance. She even wore one of the chicken masks that the DJ handed out. And she had an absolute blast learning the dance. It was so much fun.
Phil also surprised me a lot. He never dances, hates to dance. But when the DJ played my special request of 'Jump On It', he got out there with one of his GM and they did a full-out dance that they'd won a talent show with in highschool. I could not believe he was out there dancing like that in front of everyone. It seriously made my night.
My Bridesmaids rocked it hard core. They were all over everything.... we had food, drinks, music, they even had my dress, undergarment, shoes and jewlery in the suite. At 11:00 my cell rang... "Where are you??" LOL I literally walked in with my sweats on and cell phone in hand. On top of everything they had already done over the past year... the biotches filled a giant ass beach bag with our new monogram with honeymoon stuff!!
I love them.
Our uninvited little guest. The little girl who the parents invited. She danced and cartwheeled in front of our table when we ate and was out shakin it with me. Also the first thing she said to me was "Nice to meet you. You're beautiful and your dress is gorgeous!"
Also surprised me: My friend M who came to just hang out and ended up somewhat coordinating everything for us before and at the church. She's amazing.
