and I don't know if I'll have more or not...odds are, I will. Unfortunately, my mom was sort of the brunt of it
I have been apologizing profusely to her...
Basically about 30% of our house is torn apart down to the studs...walls, floors, ceilings and the 8 giant fans/dryers are loud...loud to the point of giving me a headache.
We stayed at the Residence Inn last night...DH, Mom, Sarah, the 2 dogs and me. Oh yeah, the sofa bed doesn't work - hoping they fix that today.
EnviroCheck is coming out tomorrow to test for bacteria. Will be at least 24 hours before we get the results. I hope it's all clean...I can't handle the smell (disinfectant) and fans anymore!
Thank goodness for insurance...they're covering everything but the hotel - apparently because we still have running water, they won't cover it. So we're paying that out of pocket. I plan to submit it to them anyway when it's all over.
On top of it all...DH, Sarah and I all now have colds!
I need a drink...now...too bad I'm on a conference call and have 2 more scheduled before I finish up at 4:30pm.
Re: Well...I finally had my breakdown...
Poor thing *hug* I hope everything clears. I'll keep my fingers, arms & toes crossed for you!
Oh Lori, that sucks! ?when it rains, it pours, huh?
(((hugs)))?
We're staying in the same parking lot as Lonestar...I have a feeling I'll be hitting the bar tonight...Assuming Sarah will stay with mom...otherwise the 3 of us will be hitting the bar tonight!
Screaming and crying are good for you!!! Let it all out!!!
and yes, hit the bar! You deserve it!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
So sorry! Insurance losses like that are extremely stressful. I work for a company that does that whole process (we fix the house part and put it all back together) and I always feel bad for the homeowners.
