i just looked up the sookie stackhouse and it's about VAMPIRES! EEKKK I changed my mind and want to join in on the bee book....
Re: BC: nevermind
Daisy what do you like to read?
Sphinxy I haven't been invited to the website? Did I read that wrong or will I be invited soon?
Book club is about getting out of your comfort zone, so I think you should go for it! The current read list does have a decent variety- plus it was based on votes, so you're in the minority
AJ- you should have been invited... check your spam, or I can try to resend?
can't wait until you crossover! It took my coworker 8 months to cave in. She usually reads non-fiction and super smart mysteries and stuff. Now she wants to go to Twilight lunches with me to talk about the books
Good point- I totally get that. I would never recommend Twilight book one on a honeymoon- you will drive your husband crazy driving around looking for book 2.
LOL, don't ruin the ending for me!!! It's not so much the vampire thing that is 'scary' it's just the whole 'trend' thing and like the other post was saying about the stigmas in the book. One of my favorite movies was Buffy the Vampire Slayer... okay don't laugh at me.
