Re: AW Thursday....
I have lots of little things I'm happy about:
1. Caught a Stoney LaRue guitar pick last night - my memorbilia collection is growing!
2. Going to see James Otto tonight
3. My bestest buddy has a meeting in Austin today - I might get to have lunch with him.
I was married one year on Sunday! It went by really fast.
I had a giftcard to Macy's leftover from our wedding and their Nine West purses were 25% off so I only had to pay $25 for an $89 purse for my stepmom for Mother's Day. Yay!
AW: new running kicks!
I'll post, just to liven up the board:
1. ?I'm going out with the girls for dinner/drinks/Rent tonight, wheee!
2. ?I'm done with my beating of a class and only have 1.5 more classes to deal with this semester.
3. ?Kitten is officially off the bottle and is a sippy-cup only girl!?
I'll bite since Chris just reminded me of this....
1. C is also officially off the bottle & onto sippies. He likes the Nuby ones the best. I'm trying to get him to understand how to drink from the straw-kind (the Nuby kind where you have to bite it in order to get the liquid to come out). So far it's been a no-go, but he is officially off the bottle so I packed them all away for our next ankle-biter.
2. We'll see if this month is the month for #1 to come true or not.
3. C started at his new daycare on Monday. Yay! Today has been his first official day back since Monday. They called with him having a fever, due to an ear infection.
4. C takes his meds like a champ. Gotta love not getting pink-staining amoxcillian not all over the place.
5. We are also officially off the paci. He transitioned over to a stuffed elephant that I found over at World Market for his Easter basket. It's soft, knitted & the eyes are sew on, so they aren't choking hazards.
My Mom/Sister and Niece are coming into town this weekend. I am so excited.
I am studing to get my Real Estate License and so excited about it. It's something I have always wanted to do but would have never quite my job with benefits to do it. Since I was laid off I decided to go ahead and do it. I am so excited about the opportunity. Even in a down market I think this is a great choice for us. With DH in Mortgages we will make a great team!
My kids are so much fun. I love being home with them and having all this time with them. Ryan is a walking, eating, babbling fool at almost 15 months old. Ashlyn is a little Mommy and such a great big sister. She is "Teaching her buddy all sorts of stuff" as she says it.
Congrats Nikki! Our grown-up TV purchase was a 46" Sony LCD that we hung on the wall. It looks great in our living room. I love having HD. we also purchased a Weber Grill that same weekend. I love to grill out.
It's been over 10yrs since I've even had a grill.
That is so awesome Susan! Way to go!!!!!
