Ugh, i hate when i'm on the fence about something... ![]()
Here's my 'dilemma';
Tonight i *should* go to a play with DH that 2 of our friends are in. DH and i have both worked with the company that is producing this show and they're struggling financially (what OOB theatre company isn't these days?), so it'd be good karma 2-fold. But it's not till 8pm, meaning we won't get out till after 10pm, hopefully home by 11:30pm, then i'll get about 4.5 hours of sleep before needing to get up and start the trek to La Guardia airport.
Tonight i *want* to go back to the yarn store i went to last night cuz i forgot to buy a plastic crochet hook so hopefully it won't be confiscated by airport security tomorrow, have a nice dinner out with DH and then head home to snuggle and finish cleaning and packing. DH is a little sad that i'm going away this weekend with out him and i feel like we've barely seen each other this week! (even though i know we have)
I'd feel really guilty not going to see this play cuz i was supposed to go last Friday but DH and i pooped out. And i've told the one friend that i was going tonight instead. But i feel like i'd only be going cuz i felt obligated. Not that i feel like i won't be entertained and have a good time, cuz i know i will. And DH can go to another show this weekend instead, so i feel less bad since he can still make it.
So...there... ![]()
Re: WWYD?
I would go to the yarn store and then home and spend time with the DH before leaving.
I'd be all for yarn store, home & packing for your trip. especially if DH can go to the show this weekend.
1 more vote for the yarn store & quality time, I mean you're getting on a plane in the morning just relax.
*Love* these answers! That's what i'm doing!!
And we're going to dinner at Max Brenner's. Yum! They don't have anything like that in NM.

one other thing! They are fine with knitting/crochet needles now. I brought rather long metal needles without a problem. the only thing I think you have to be careful of is scissors. I found at my local knitting shop, (and have seen it in other places) a security safe yarn cutter . It works great and you have nothing to worry about!
