Store for lamp shades
I need a lamp shade for an antique table lamp with a spider fitting. Most of the chain stores I have been too only have the clip-on kind or don't have the right size. I need a specialty store, I think. If I were in Syracuse, I would know exactly where to go. But, somehow in this huge city, there doesn't seem to be an equivalent. How can this be? Any suggestions for lamp stores where I can look?

There is a big store on Queens Blvd and 67th Road that sells light fixtures. I've never been inside, so I don't know if they carry what you are looking for, they seem to have a ton of chandeliers.
There is also an antique home furninishing shop on Metropolitan and 72nd Ave. Actually, I think there might be a few antique shops on Metro. Maybe you could find something there.
