What A Day

Today I went to court as a witness on behalf of the state for a Car Accident that I was involved in 2006 with a Drunk Driver that could have easily killed me or any child that was playing in the street that day my (God Kids).

This man literally slammed into my car to the point that it spinned almost 5x's & then when his car didn't start he took off running w/ a bottle of Tequila. Thanks to the neighbors the police were able to catch the man that evening and arrest him for: Hit & Run (Literally), Leaving the Scene of a Accident, Careless Driving, Stolen Car, Suspended Liscense and Last but not least DUI.

Luckily, I showed up as a witness & 3 other Police Officers showed up as well that were present that evening. The man was not arrested though he will have to present himself in court again in 30 days where he will be tried & Sentenced.

I on the other hand had to relive that day again, which really sucks, though atleast I know that his crime was not let go.

After court, the man was totally rude & screaming @ me. The Good Thing is that the 3 Police officers that were present for this case were right behind me & told the man to relax before he was arrested.

Re: What A Day

  • Wow, that must have been so stressful. I bet you're glad that today is almost over! I think its great that you went to testify and didn't let this guy bully you or anyone else. I hope he gets the maximum sentence, there is no excuse for drinking and driving or leaving the scene of an accident.
