New Computer...

So, my new computer at work arrived a few days ago. It's been sitting half unpacked in my office since Thursday because my predecessor somehow took all the microsoft office cd's with her. Hence, I couldn't get things set up because I didn't have the program installation CD's. Well, she's sent them back, so I should have my new computer up and running by day's end.. I hope!! Anyhow, I should have some time to nest on my old computer, while I wait for everything to install on my new one.

I'm hoping for no technical difficulties because i'm not exactly a tech wiz. What's everyone's reviews on Vista if you have a fairly new computer with it?

    I have Vista on my computer @ home, and I haven't had any problems with it... My boss has vista on his tablet pc and it crashed ...but he had Microsoft 2003....when he upgraded to microsoft 2007 its been working fine!

    Good luck with your new comp!  I know nothing about Vista but, I hope it's good to you!  It's been around long enough now that all of the bugs should be worked out.

    We have vista on our laptop at home.  It's a little different than what the usual is. It asks you for permission for everything, but I guess for somethings that could be good? Otherwise I haven't had any problems with it so far :)

    I'm no help on the Vista thing either, since I have a Mac which I love!!!

    DH has vista on his laptop and as far as i know there have never been any problems with it. ?
