this time last year....
My bridal shower was this upcoming weekend. I was in the midst of all the wedding planning frenzy. I was getting ready to be a bridesmaid in my friends wedding. I was signing a new contract for a job in Austin. I was counting the days until my residency finished.
Amazing how much can change in one year....
Just thought I'd share - a lot of you were there for all of those changes!

LOL - i think i blocked that out. Everything seemed like such a crisis when it involved a glitch in wedding planning. I have to say though....it paid off. I've been to 2 weddings since then where some of the guests attended my wedding and people have actually come up to me and said my wedding was still the best one they've been to. umm....awkward. but kinda cool.
Austin is great!!! I was soooo homesick for the first six months and I really had some regrets about moving but I think it was just such a huge transition. I am soo happy I moved here. Martin and I are a happier, healthier, and more active couple which are some of the reasons we wanted to move to begin with.
AND....We're closing on our first house on May 29th!!!
