Hey y'all!  Anyone know of some good places to get birthday cakes?  Just wondering if there are any alternatives to the grocery store.  Reasonably priced too.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!!

    What kind of cake are you looking for?  A sheet cake?  A special design or theme?  Creative Cakes makes cakes and Sweet Creations in Cake also make beautiful cakes, but I think they are kinda expensive.

    I make cakes, but just for fun so I have never bought a b-day cake for my dd. I usually make hers.

    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    My friend ordered her little girl's cake from Zoe's in Covington. The cake was absolutely adorable! It was a shame to cut it b/c it was so cute. The actual cake itself is out of this world. I've had their cake at several weddings and while it is pricey, I think it is totally worth the money.

    Are you on the Westbank?  If so I have a friend who does cakes out of her house and they are absolutely amazing.  The cakes look like something off of Ace of Cakes.  Let me know if you would like her information.  But you do need to order early because she books up pretty quick.

    check out Flour Power, I believe they are in chalmette. They did a cake for a friends wedding shower that I helped host and I was really impressed with the cake.

    Creative Cakes on the Westbank is unreal!  The best cakes ever.  Royal Cakery in Kenner is equally as great and probably a lot more artistic.  GL!
