Networking Groups????

Good Morning!

I have started a new business and am looking for ways to network and market a small business.

Do any of you belong Women?s Groups and/or Networking Groups?  Can you pass along the websites?

Thanks~

Jenn

Re: Networking Groups????

  • I don't know if you're on LinkedIn or not- but I've actually used some contacts through that website that I've linked up with (there are several other nesties there too) If you want- I'll use your email to send you an invite to LinkedIN. There is a Linked Indiana group that would help you also develop other contacts.

There is also Business Networking International- chapters are usually by location- so you would have to look up what is near you.

  • I have seen LinkedIn but haven't understood how it works yet. That might be my weekend project.

    Thanks!

  • I'm on LinkedIn as well.

I also belong to IndyHub and Smaller Indiana.

www.meetup.com also has local groups for small business owners and possibly for your area of expertise.

I also belong to a couple of groups related to graphic design as well.

Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • I second IndyHub.  www.indyhub.org  IMO- best social network for Young Professionals in the city.  Very sophisticated, well organized, etc...

I must ask- what is your new business venture!  Share it with us!

  • i third the Indyhub and second the Smaller Indiana - both great places to make new connections. Good luck!
