Anyone been to Costa Rica?
If so....we are looking for names of Zip line tours you would recommend! ?Thanks! ?We are staying at the Four Seasons (in case location of the tour matters).....we heard they have one but it is not as good as the local ones.
Re: Anyone been to Costa Rica?
You may want to check the travel board and also do a search on tripadvisor.com Costa Rica forum.
I second Tripadvisor. That is how I plan most of our vacations. When are you going? My BIL is going to Costa Rica in a couple of weeks to play with the symphony for a month. He went 2 years ago too and met his soon to be wife. I'm hoping they will get married there!
Have fun!!

I went to Costa Rica with a friend a few years ago and we booked all of our tours through this group:

They were great to work with, and they keep the groups really small. It looks like they pick up at the Four Seasons, so it should be an option. For zip lining, we did the Bourinquen Mega Tour which included riding horses up the mountain, zip line, mud bath and lunch. The zip line was amazing. They also do a tour to another zip line, but we asked about the difference they said Bourinquen was longer and faster, which was what we wanted.
We also booked a snorkel/sailing trip through them and hired a guide for a beach day which included an ATV beach tour, lunch and surfing lessons in Tamarindo. We just told the guide what we wanted to do and he arranged everything for us - it was nice to not have to deal with the crazy Costa Rican roads, too. I LOVED CR - you'll have a great time!
