I confess that although I have been TRYING to eat better and move more, it seems ?that when I do one, I fail at the other.?
Yesterday I walked in the day to do some errands, and then again in the evening with DH. But at trivia, I had a few drinks, and a HUGE piece of chocolate peanut butter cake! ugh.
Today I am going to try to do both. Eat better and move more. Hopefully I can start getting into a positive pattern here. ?
Ok a silly confession but...I love Miley Cyrus's song "The Climb." When she gets to the part in the song when she sings "my faith is shaken" I get a little choked up. Man I am sooo lame.
That it is and that means it's one day closer to Friday!
I confess that I have not had my head in the game at work. I'm getting bored with the little work I have (if I was busier, it wouldn't bother me), and bored equals edgey for me. Especially since we never know what kind of mood our boss is going to be in. I spend most of my day online, and recently I have spent most of my time planning things for our honeymoon.
I confess I'm an idiot sometimes, and can't count. There are a little over 3 weeks left until we leave for our honeymoon. Up until Tuesday I swore we had five weeks to go, until I looked at the calendar and counted, again.
DH needed a ride to work this morning, I have no problem with this. In fact he would have taken my car if only I had a way to work. We aren't sure how to get him home yet, he is going to try calling his mom. But we both know she is going to give him a hard time and make him feel bad for asking. What woman does that to her child?
Kel - My MIL makes DH feel bad for anything and everyone he would ever ask for, so your DH is NOT alone in that.
Hmmm, I confess somedays I just feel burnt out. I like my new job and the farm, but between the both of them it makes for long 12 - 14 days everday. I am actually glad for my 45 min - 1 hour commute because it's my relax /unwind time.
I confess I want to take a second honeymoon (and we've only been back from ours for about 2 months!) All this talk of you guys heading out on your HM REALLY makes me want to go somewhere. Plus, our cruise line called me yesterday to tell me I had a personal vacation planner who would help with any futures trips,deals, etc. SOOO tempting:)
I agree, everyone talking about HM makes me sad... I mean happy for ya'll but sad bc we haven't gone on ours, don't know when we will be able to.... Hopefully my vacay in July will get approved and we can atleast have a week off even if we are going to be with 2 other couples and 1 kid.
I have several today...
First of all DH..I LOVE YOU TO DEATH but my god dude, when you take out the trash in the kitchen (which yes I am thankful for) can't you put a trash bag back in the trash can?? Is it realllly that hard to replace it? And why do you always wash your car and clean it out and never offer to do mine? My car looks like _shit and is completely dirty on the inside and you know I have NO time to clean it, but love to brag about how yours is soo clean and sparkly, BLAH whatever
I'm sooo in love with Edward in Twilight. Yes I know he is fictional and there is no man alive that would ever be like him (lol cause he is a vampire) but still, I don't know how to explain, I just love him
And yes I will admit, yesterday at both of my jobs, I was reading while at work...shhhh don't tell!!
Since we have gotten our Chinchilla, I've become a worry wart about him. Every little thing I'm like omg is he ok? Right now he is not chewing any wood which isn't good cause their teeth continuously grow and I'm worried. He's eating his food and everything else ok. I hope it's just a phase. I don't want to have to take him to get his teeth trimmed down, that means anesthesia for the little guy
And yes I'm soo excited and jealous for all of ya'll about to take your HM's!!! We haven't gone on ours yet either, who knows when that will be and I just want to go somewhere with DH and get away and enjoy each other. *le sigh* I really do hope all of ya'll have fantastic HM's and I can't wait to see pics when you get back!!!
I confess...that I really don't have that much to confess about today, at least nothing that really comes to mind, so I guess that means I should have a pretty good day!
Oh wait! DH changed the line up for what was recorded on our TiVo, and my number one favorite show wasn't recorded because he put one of his in that time slot instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
DH just called me @ work to ask if I was mad at him! Awwww...lol . He NEVER calls..and he is usually not concerned if i get mad at him over something like that. --that was sweet..i'm not irritated anymore!
I confess that is my computer network drive tells me one more time that the "disk is full...save failed" I may really hurl it out the window! It's a NETWORK. It not possible that it's full and I need to get crap done. Grrrrrr...
I confess that I have been feeling like I am single again the majority of the past three weeks. DH worked 85 hours last week alone and two nights ago, he got home at 2:30 AM. I'm so glad that I don't ever see his boss because (though I'm not a violent person) I don't think I could stop myself from gut punching him. It's freakin' inhumane to force people to work those kind of hours and bully them into doing it because of the state of our economy and fear of job loss.
I confess that, although I love my MIL, last night she worked every last nerve in my body with her made-up ridiculous guilt-tripping. When I told DH later, we actually had a good laugh and bonding moment over it because it sounded EXACTLY like what she does to him all the time. *sigh* I guess that means she really does consider me her daughter now.

Jen - you guys NEED that HM! I'm so sorry about the long hours.. I'm sure it's tough on DH but also very tough for you too. At least when my DH is putting in obscene hours at the farm I can be there to hang out with him, ride in the tractor until 2:30 am if needed, etc.
Just think, that breakfast on the balcony awaits you on Monday morning!
- I have become an absentminded idiot after having been so busy at school for the past few months, and once again bought a plane ticket for the wrong date. This is the second time this year! I used to think to myself, "Who does that?!?" But now I know. At least it didn't end up costing me much more than a regular ticket would have in the end.
- So one of my BMs/BFFs got engaged this weekend (yay!) and now I am plotting with another friend to do something terrible. So, newly engaged friend was engaged a few years ago (before I knew her) to this guy who ended up cheating on her and thus she broke it off. She bought a dress at DB, one of the ones with the contrasting color sash in dark blue. She and her new FI think that it would be perfectly fine to wear this dress (that she had purchased to wear to her wedding with another guy) at their wedding. So, friend #2 and I are going to drive up to friend #1's mom's house, get the dress, and sell the damn thing! It must have bad juju or something...
- Like many of you lovely ladies out there, my DH is also working long hours and is super stressed out about it. Our relationship is already strained by nature being long distance, and it makes it really hard when we can hardly talk or when he is in a crappy mood. This issue is probably not helped by the fact that I am done (!!!!) and am just killing time for the next few weeks.
I confess I am about to go off on the girl who works with me....AHHH I cant take it anymore. She has worked her a long long time and thinks she owns the place...well I am sorry you dont. Everything that happens she runs to our boss to tell him....not cool we are adults not kids on the playground. Dh company is doing work in our building...way cool but he is not on this job...but the person in charge on his job asked me to fax some time sheets into the office for him...no big deal I thought. Yes HUGE deal for her. She freaked out over a little fax..holy cow take it from my paycheck!
wow that turned more into a vent....and the sad thing is thats not the end of it. I feel bad for Dh because every night this week I have bitched to him about work....not fun.
No worries Meg its not just your DH... My lovely DH does the same thing...and then i throw something in and im wtf where is the bag? UGH!...oh well...one thing at a time I guess! He also leaves water all over the sink after he washes his face or brushes his teeth, then i leave over the sink and get all wet from his stupid water. UGH! i'm still trying to break him of this habit!!

DH does the same thing!!!! Water EVERYWHERE! It's like everytime he goes into the bathroom he has a little private pool party in the sink. What IS that? And don't get me started on the whiskers scattered all over the vanity after he shaves that don't seem to bother him in the least.
However, he DOES put new bags in the garbage
