Boss pet-peeve- yes, already!
OK. we all know we do it ladies- but still SO annoying. 
The minute we meet someone we give them the ol' up and down look and make a quick assessment of what the other is wearing, style, (or lack there of) how dressed up the other is etc. The thing is- most of us do it on the low. When we know the other person isn't looking or noticing that we do it. FINE whatever.
My boss lady does this ALL THE TIME as she speaks to me. Like as I'm making eye contact with her and fully engaged in conversation as she's scanning my hair my outfit- my shoes. Uh, lady- seriously?
So feeking annoying. I'm professionally dressed- I don't look like a hobo. As a matter of fact when our conversation ended she complimented me on my outfit today. But it's not just today- it's EVERY TIME I SPEAK TO HER!
I know it's not just me- she does it in meetings to all the women in a room but still- annoys the crap out of me that she's not more discrete- not to mention it makes me feel self conscious a little.
