30 did not make me feel old

Turning 30 really didn't make me feel old. ?I didn't feel old until I just looked at my law school diploma and realized, I graduated 5 years ago today! ?Which made me realize I graduated from undergrad 8 years ago this past Tuesday. ?AND, on Sunday, it will be 12 years since I graduated from high school. ?Wow.

Re: 30 did not make me feel old

  • Time is flying by and makes me sad.  My mom told me that time starts to slow down once you have kids and then you'll want it to speed up again, LOL.

I also don't think I'll feel old on my 30th.

  • I'm glad turning 30 doesn't make you feel old! I'm still 3.5 years away from turning 30 (funny enough today is my half b-day so exactly 3.5 years away!) and I hope I feel the same way as you when the day comes.

  • You will love your 30's!!!!!! You've learned so much, you have your dh, it's a whole new chapter of your life.  I thought 30 was going to be awful, but I am loving it if not more than just as much as my 20's.  :)  And I know what you mean about looking at the diploma.  My grad school diploma is 2 years old, so not that bad.  But my Mom reminded me that next year I will be out of hs 15 years.  And it honestly feels like yesterday.
