I so want to take the boys there when they're older!

?
My friend just traveled to Yellowstone and they had to bring their snow gear. Chains and all.
wow! How cool, I've never been.
Sorry you can't be there with him
A few years ago I drove through Yellowstone on my way to Cody, Wyoming. It was the middle of July, and as I was living in Vegas at the time, I was wearing shorts and a tshirt in the car. Well, about 1/4 of the way into Yellowstone, it started pouring rain. A few minutes later it began snowing thick slushy snow! I was SOOO suprised! I had never really been in snow before (I've been sledding once, and I went up to Baldy once after it snowed). Luckily, it didn't last long, so the roads were fine.
But come on, it was JULY!!
