Re: Kim&Ben

  • Thank you so much! I had such a great day. It def went by too fast and I cant believe its only be 2.5 months. It seems like sooo much longer ago then that!

I loved my flower girl. Her dad is one of my best friends from high school. When I asked him if she could be the f.g. he said yes and had her practice!! Poor girl was practicing throwing flower petals only to have the church say she couldn't throw petals. When the church told me she couldn't throw petals I called him and told him and felt bad for her. After he told her he called me back and said "I told her and shes ok with it. Actually she said 'oh I have flowers upstairs, I will go practice now'" lol. (We let her carry a bouquet). Then that morning the first time I saw her I was like "hello how are you" she said "Today I am going to be a flower girl" She was just so stinking cute.

where's your married bio at? I had to get motivated to sit down and actually make mine one night.

  • We have a cocker spaniel. He will be 2 years in September. We have had him since he was born almost. He is so fun. When we first got him we swear it was almost like having a kid having to take care of him so much, but its good practice.

I saw that you are doing the puppy training. how is that going? We thought about taking him somewhere like that but never actually did it. Our dog is just like a kid, listens to what he wants, when he wants.
  • LOL...it's funny we keep posting days later.  The class is going but he's sooo stubborn and has a strong will of his own.  He will listen for treats but trying to get him to listen w/o them is tough.  He has calmed down some...we got 6 more classes to go.  It's helped me learn how to deal with certain bad behavior.  I will keep ya posted and let you know if he graduates or NOT...lol

  • haha yeah thats how our dog started, would only listen for treats. I do have to admit he has calmed down some lately.  Once he got out of his puppy stage he seemed to listen more.

Lately he has started doing something that we didn't really mean to train him to do. We have a door with a doggie door to the backyard. If he is just sitting in the room with us and we are like "Luke, go" he runs to the dog door and runs outside for no real reason. Hes out there for like 10 seconds and comes back in. Its so funny. Its really funny though when we arent even trying to get him to go outside. We will say "We really need to go to the store" and he hears go and he is gone out the door lol.

good luck with the rest of the classes! Hope he graduates!
