Inland Empire Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Lori

Do you have any info on the herding place you took your corgis to? We have a corgi (mix) and H has always wanted to find a place we can take her to see if she has the herding instinct.

Re: Lori

  • Sure!  We found it through meetup.com (free to register) and it's called the SoCal Stockdog Herding Training group.  It's $25/dog for each visit (we plan on going 1-2 times a month) and they work with the dogs and show you how to do it too.

Go 2.5 miles to Robinson, make a right. (Robinson is the first street after Cambell which has a light, if you get to Cypress or Arlington you've gone too far)

  • One more piece of info...You don't have to belong to the meetup group to go to the herding or the event on 6/6.  The guy who runs the herding place said he would love to get more Corgi's out there to herd and play so I told him I'd pass on the information at the 6/6 event for him!

  • Thanks! Do you think our dog would be okay since she's a mix? She's got the body and face of a corgi but she is black and long haired. She was a rescue so we don't know what she is mixed with. All they knew was corgi.

I'm sure it would be totally fine!
