Anyone else bored? Im at work sending out patient statements. Wooo fun!! it's depressing, i see all these statements going out, knowing that most of these people will not pay their ridiculously small balances. Honestly almost all of the balances are under $100.00....but people refuse to pay their bills, its insane. I could never think about not paying a bill.. I mean I understand times are tough, and people just do not have extra money. But I set up ridiculous payment plans $5/mth...anything to get the money in and try and make it as easy for the pt as possible. Most medical offices will not be that understanding.
Re: Bored, bored, bored!
That's nice that your office is so good about making payment plans that work for the patients, even if the amount they they pay each month seems insignificant.
I am continuing to work on cleaning my apartment and getting rid of a ton of stuff that I don't wear, use, etc. So far I have like 5 huge bags of clothing and shoes to go to the Goodwill this week. I'm also trying to organize things so that when I move it's not such a huge ordeal.
I have a question: what should I do with stuff that might have sentimental value for an ex-boyfriend? This guy has been an ex for like 6 years, so I don't know if I should try to get it back to him or just donate it with everything else. Thoughts?
Jena - that is MEGA frustrating. I hope you get at least a few paid invoices after all this and feel somewhat vindicated. (At my new job, I'm finding some super old and ridiculosly small AR too and wonder why they weren't taken care of...
Renea, who knows.... Is he anywhere close so you could just drop it off without it being too akward? Or, do you have a mailing address for him? Otherwise, I would drop it. (I'm assuming this is just clothes, belongings and not memories of you two together - which should for sure be tossed:)

Is it clothes or what not of his? Is it stuff that he would "Want" back? I mean its been 6yrs and he hasn't asked for it back so i'm thinkin'he probably wont.... DH had a desk that an ex of his gave him way back in the day, like right after they graduated highschool in 2000....he wanted to give it back to her...i was like uhm just get rid of it, she lives up north somewhere, and she hasn't asked for it back , i doubt she even knows you still have it......
Renea
if its something like old photos, a yearbook, a college or high school sweater, then yeah i would try to get it back to him, is there a way you could look him up on facebook and message him asking if he would want it back??
