question about hosting a wedding shower.

So this summer in one weekend my friends and family are doing my baby shower, a wedding shower, and a wedding reception for friends who did a destination weddjing.  I am hosting the wedding shower, along with five other people.

Ok-so do the hosts names go on the invite?  I've never made one before, and this is my job.

thanks ladies.

Re: question about hosting a wedding shower.

  • Good question. ?I have to host a wedding shower in a few months with the other BM's, so I'd love to know the answer to this as well. Sorry, I am no help!?
  • I have seen the host names on invites for showers

    as in:

Please Join us for a Bridal Shower

    to honor Bridey McBriderson

    Hosted by:  (Names of hosts)
Their names could be followed by their role in the wedding (MOH, Sister, Bridesmaid, etc.) but this is not necessary.

  • I have also seen the host's name just in the reply info.
  • Simply put, Yes the host names should be on the invite.  You can refer to yourselves and "the girls" if you don't want to make a list but want to refer to several people but in one shape or form the names should be listed.
