I think it sounds like she is full of it. And if she is 4.5 weeks now, then she would have been 2 weeks when she was arrested and no way they would have found out then. And if Dirk knew all about her past why did he hire a PI and why would he have not contacted her.
I do wish Dirk would come out and talk about it, what he did and did not know.
I think when everything settles down - if she is pregnant and IF the baby is Dirk's - he'll make a statement. Until then I think he's doing the right thing by keeping his distance.
7 yrs ago is when he was pretty damn new to the Mavs - I remember his accent being super thick. Anywho my point is he was young and probably naive and this chick just took him for a ride. If I were him I would feel really hurt and embarrassed right about now.

Hehe..she sounds like a real winner. I agree poor Dirk. He should have done a little research first.
And Dirk is known for being a genuinely nice guy. The problem with nice guys is that professional con chicks like this can get over on them easily. I'm sure he just thought he was helping her out and thought that something real was developing between them. Poor guy.
I "heard" that his attorneys were doing a background check while drawing up the prenup. At that time they found questionable things and went further and then she ended up arrested.
I'm taking the "very" part as "very much pregnant". Like it's real not that she is VERY far along. Maybe that's what she means though. Who knows.
I do feel bad for him, but I also see that he was probably going for a nice low key type girl instead of "arm candy" you know?
But, that looks like it backfired poor guy! I would not doubt if she was not PG and was just lying like she tends to do anyways. For his sake, I hope she is lying.
Lol at the fact he has left her high and dry! "He was my only source of income" Really? I can't say what I would do in that situation (drink martinis by the pool and shop all day could be a possibility) but I would like to think I would still work, maybe part time until I was at least married to the guy.
I'm just glad to hear that so many people really support Dirk and realize that she is the one doing all the wrong things. It's pretty well known around here, and I think throughout the NBA, that Dirk is a genuinely nice, decent guy and it breaks my heart for him that he's having to deal with it. (And I LOVED that he came out in both games after the arrest and had great games--I better not ever hear anybody say he doesn't have his head in the game again!)
This woman is despicable (sp?--too lazy to check). I actually heard the tapes of that interview on local ESPN this afternoon. She didn't come across any better on tape than she did in print. I really hope the baby isn't Dirk's, but if it is, I hope a he can get full custody and keep that woman out of their lives.
Oh, and I totally agree about the "very pregnant." Seriously? At 4 WHOLE weeks? Whatever.
