One of DH's childhood friends found out that she has bladder cancer. Her sister told us today. She is really embarrassed and doesn't want many people to know. She is having surgery to have it removed and having chemo. If you could keep her in your prayers that would be fantastic. She is younger than us and the dr said that she is the youngest person that he has ever seen it in.

Re: Wow... T&Ps
that's scary. she will be in my thoughts.
Why is she embarrassed? not to say to spread it around, but she really needs to let those who love her, know. She'll really need the support system. Maybe check into message boards as well, so she can talk with others who have been in her shoes, she she won't feel so alone, especially because of her age.
Being young and otherwise healthy is a plus. Being able to relate, dh and I will definitely keep her in our thoughts.
I don't know why she is embarrassed. We found out through her sister when we were over there the other day. I knew she was sick but I didn't know with what until her sister told us and asked us not to say anything even to her that we know about it. She would have a huge support system if she told people.
Thank you all for your prayers!
