Where did/would you purchase carpets?
Hello ladies:
could you recommend a good carpet place? We are trying to complete our Master BR by next week Friday and I need to start searching for carpets. Nothing fancy but good and affordable. Maybe down the road, we'll fix and expose the hardwood beneath but for now we are going the carpet route. Thanks for your help!

Re: Where did/would you purchase carpets?
A friend did it through Empire, and the process was a nightmare--missed appointments, deliveries with no one to install, missed work days to cover it all. She also noted that it wasn't the least expensive route either. In the end after some angry words, they did get a discount for their troubles. I do not know if this was all just an uncommon error or telling of their service, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case it was under consideration.
Another friend did it with Home Depot and I think she was pleased with the result.
