So I love a good reality show, and I was just curious who out there is watching or plans on watching any of the wedding-related reality shows now that our weddings are done.
I have to admit, while watching ANTM last week they were previewing the Hitched or Ditched show, and I think I might try the premiere, if nothing else because it looks pretty funny. Anyone out there who loves Say Yes to the Dress or anything else along those lines?
Re: Wedding reality shows
I have seen Say Yes to the Dress a couple of times. Its kind of boring to me.?
I never have seen any of the Bridezilla shows.
I used to watch on TLC For Better or Worse, where the couple let their families and friends plan their wedding and they had like $5000 and a weekend to plan it. Some of them turned out so good. Its not on the air anymore.
Then there was also one show that the couple had to hire a wedding planner. they interviewed 3 people and 1 was a high class planner, one was a regular planner and the 3rd was something else entirely, just posing as a wedding planner. I think they find out at the end that the 3 people weren't all wedding planners, but anyway, they hire one and that person has to plan the wedding (even if in their regular job was plumbing or teaching or something) it was kind of funny. ?also on TLC, like forever ago
I also saw previews of the new Newlywed show, it looks like it could be good. ?
So I have this guy friend who is convinced now that all women who are married/unmarried want to go to people's wedding or watch them on TV only to compare them with how great their wedding/future wedding was. I think it is hilarious and a bit true
I kind of like Say Yes to the Dress, just because I like to see all the pretty dresses. But, some of the women on that show are a piece of work (!) and it makes it difficult for me to watch the whole thing.
