can I get a confession please?
#1 i'm so sick of this rain. I'm worried that DH will not work tonight bc of this gay rain! He was already off on Tuesday bc of the rain! Now tonight they are having him work overnight instead of today and im afraid its going to get rained out and we are going to be out 2 days of pay instead of 1. He can not really use his vacay days bc we are taking a week of in July and we will need the days then! ugh!
#2 i want to throat punch my co-worker.--- We have 2 drs & a PA that works in our facility. We have one main DR that is here EVERYDAY, and then the other dr comes in for 2-3 shifts a months.. He is not here often. He is very good looking....well my coworkers act like idiots when he is here. its embaressing! ....one of them dresses up...uhm we wear SCRUBS EVERY SINGLE DAY...then on days he is here she dresses up! agh! so today the one that dresses up isnt here...but apparently one of our receptionists has the hots for him bc she has all this make up on and she had her hair "done" more then usuall...and she never wears make up..Oh, it embaresses me for her..goodness.. ::rolls eyes::

I'm sick of the rain too! I really hope it doesn't rain tonight so your DH can work. I know how hard that is relying on that pay. My DH has a torn rotator cuff from his gun and gear from the army and we don't know when he is going to have surgury because he'll have to take time off w/o pay from work.
As for wanting to throat punch coworkers, I understand, but I would like to do the same thing for different reasons. I've become bold in my "old" age. If I were you, I would walk right up to this Dr and let him in on the fact that these women are acting like school girls because they have the hots for him. Personally, I think it would be funny, especially if you get to burst their bubble by telling them he has a girlfriend, or even better, prefers men. But hey, that's just me, and I've been called evil.

I have to work on Monday and I am not happy, but I guess that is the life I lead in the grocery business.
Friends of DH and I are getting divorced and I am always thinking about them...especially their 2 year old son. He is so sweet and innocent and i cant help but worry how this will affect him.

Its funny you mentioned the rain becuase today it is raining here and I love it. That is because it doesn't rain much and hasn't in months. That has to be stressful though since your DH depends on being able to work outside. Hopefully it stops soon.
That is ridiculous how some women act, I'm sure they look pretty stupid.
Everyone in the office knows he has a g/f...she brings him lunch when he is here, and she is gorgeous....I'm not bold enough to say anything to him... the one who dresses up has made comments to him and im sure he knows she thinks hes hot..the most hilarious thing is that our regular DR knows that the one who dresses up only dresses up when the hot doc is here....and our regular dr is our boss.....he will say "so & so, dr B will be here this day"...lol geez!
that is not good about your DH..... my DH broke his ankle in 2005. he has rods/pins the whole 9yds in there...well it gives him problems and the dr told him that if he had problems he could have the hardware removed--so he has been talking about having that stuff removed...and he would have to be out of work! so we haven't really decided whether or not that is something we want to attmpt!
Aw, im sorry you have to work on Monday, that stinks. & Im sorry to hear about your friends that are getting divorced. I was 5 when my parents divorced, and my sister was 2. I'm not sure exactly how it has affected her, but I know for me It has made me an angry person. ....It's scary how something like divorce can affect a child.
Well up until this week we hadn't had rain in awhile. In fact last week I was telling Bkenan they might have an issue getting to Cocoa beach bc some main roads were closed due to fires! Now this week its raining like crazy! So far the rain is holding out, but that does us no good right now! I wish it would rain now and then stop by 5 .. DH has to be into work @ 6. ...
I am so unbelievably out of shape!
yesterday our summer bowling league started, and after bowling 3 games I am so sore. I know it will get better as the time goes on, but my lower back, the back of my thighs, my glutes, and my bowling arm are all sore...
I know its new movement for me and I need to get used to it, but it just makes me realize how out of shape I've gotten. Not that I ever have been in great shape. I mean, 3 years ago I managed to go from 275 to 205 in a matter of 6 or 7 months (by eating better and going to the gym 4 times a week) but since then I've gained 50 pounds. I am starting to do better at the working out thing, yesterday I got 9700 steps (the highest since we started the pedometer thing).
I know its little things, and I'm getting there, I just wish it was easier. ?

I confess I am PO'ed at my work. My DH and I work at the same place and two weeks ago his supervisors decided to change his schedule to working EVERY SINGLE weekend. The supervisors refuse to even consider changing his schedule back due to "company need." I feel completely helpless and cheated of spending days off together. The only good thing to come from this is that Justin is considering going to college.

sucks about your DH's schedule change. Can they change your schedule too, so you work weekends as well, and then you can have some days off together??
I asked my boss if it would be possible for me to switch around my days but since there are only 3 of us in the lab there would not be enough coverage:( For now he is looking for a new job (which is a scary thought) and we are dealing with it. So far it isn't as bad as I thought it would be but it also has only been 2 weeks.
Oh, that sucks! My sister just told me last night that her work changed her schedule, and when she told them she cant work that schedule bc she has no one to watch her kids they told her tough...she currently works 7pm-7am, so her H could watch the kids when he gets home @ 6...but now they changed her sched to 3pm-3am, w/o asking her ...so she is screwed. Jerks! I don't think employers should be able to do that w/o atleast letting the person know in advance.
Exactly. And what kind of schedule is 3pm to 3am? With kids? SOOOO not fair.
When Justin said it would not work for us they said, "Too bad. You know with the economy the way it is you should be happy to have a job." Translation...we will treat you like garbage and you have to take it. Can you say A hole?
