I failed my 3-hour test...I have GD
I posted this on the Central PA baby board but I know some of you do not check out that board so I'll post it here too. I got the call yesterday that I failed the 3-hour test and now have gestational diabetes. It hit me kinda hard yesterday when I got the news and I spent a lot of time crying. Today, I am feeling much better and I won't let this get me down. I have a meeting with a diabetic counselor tomorrow who will be giving me my diet and monitor to check my sugar levels 4 times a day. Yeah for more needles!! Just when I get off the progesterone injections, I have this. Oh well...I can do it. I already started a basic GD diet about a week and a half ago so the transition should not be too hard for me. Thanks for thinking of me the other day. I appreciate all the thoughts and good luck wishes.
