Fun Poll - Weirdest Name of Someone You Know IRL

I stole this from the 12-24 Month Toddler board and thought it was pretty funny!

Not just names you have heard but names your family or close friends have come up with.

  • I have a girl cousin named Kamber.  Not bad just NMS.

I worked with a girl named Tuesday.

A friend's son has the middle name Edge.  Yup, like the U2 guy.  She told her DH that she was pg at a U2 concert.

  • My nephew had a classmate and his name was Ulysses. But the funny part was he kept telling my brother his name was Useless. LOL!!

I also knew a girl named August. Not bad, just different.

I've had a lot of funky ones on my claims at work but I can't think of any right now. Well except the one today where the guys last name was Butts. (I am so mature lol)

  • Oh man, being a teacher, you come across the weirdest names:

    Cadillac

    Fast Freddy

    Mister

    Oladina (pronounced Aladdin-uh)

    Loreydi

  • I have a friend named September and another one named Girly.

The girl who used to do my nails is named Guam - yah, like the island I grew up on!

But my all time fav? ?One of the guys I went to school with - -Flash Gordon! Yep that was his real first & last name.

I went to school with a family of kids and they were all named after cars. The kid in my grade was named Fararri. His sister was Mercedes and I can't remember the other name.

I heard on the radio (i know..now with the poll) a person came across a la-a. Pronounced La dash a.

  • I don't really know them, but my mom has taught:

    Denny's

Alexus (I think they wanted a car not a kid, LOL)

Semaj (dad's name was James- get it?)

She also taught with a guy who had kids named:

    Storm

    River

    Zephyr Moon

  • A girl at my old work, whom I adore, named her sons Roc and Rome. So nms but then a lot of people don't love the name Pierce either.

She got pregnant with her third 5 weeks after Rome was born. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

I know quite a few women named Girly. It's pretty popular with the Filipino's I work with.

  • Another teacher here.  I once had a student named Princess ________ and her younger sister's name was Princess ________.  The following year I had twins named Dalles (and yes that is with an "e") and Dynasty.  Yup, like the two famous soaps in the 80's... except that Dynasty, I think was spelled more "creatively."
