Memorial Weekend
What are your plans? I know some of my co-workers are taking off tomorrow so they can have a super duper long weekend. We get to leave early tomorrow. Yay! I am taking off Tuesday (not for anything fun though, the gas company is coming to turn on the gas so that's all).
So, what's on tap for this long weekend?

I'll be getting a head start on the weekend usual and do some laundry tomorrow when I get home, so not enthused about that one.
Then Saturday, my church dance group is performing at an event and a group of young girls I teach are also performing so that will be busy, but fun.
To top the memorial weekend, MIL is hosting a BBQ at her house and DH is on tap to man the grill, so it will be one busy, long day helping with that but I'm looking forward to the Caribbean food cooked on the grill!?

I am off tomorrow...No plans yet, just hang out with DH. Its our 1 year anniversary this Sunday but since he works on Sunday we will be going out to dinner Saturday night. Possibly catching a movie and then go home and have a piece of our wedding cake after midnight. DH is replicating the top piece :-)
Monday, I am off too but no plans yet...

Tomorrow: leave early, try to get boxes from our neighborhood grocery store to finish packing as much as possible
Saturday: more packing, helping with painting at the new house, begin moving stuff over there
Sunday: more of the same, installing bedroom doors, carpet installation, hopefully will be our first night there or it could be Monday night, we'll see!
Monday: more of the same, cleaning, last minute stuff to get together...hopefully grab a bbq at our old neighbor's party
Tuesday: sleep in and wait for the gas guy to come over. Clean and organize at home. Maybe get my hair done if I have $35 bucks left. LOL If not, then go with the flow! LOL
Enjoy the Caribbean food, MsWifey. I pray that by Labor Day I will finally bea able to host my first bbq/party. Awh!

I don't think i'll be getting out early tomorrow. I've been here for 2 years and it hasn't happened yet...
But DH and i are heading to NM on Saturday and we'll be there till the following Sunday!! Primarily we're going to love on my niece, but there are some other things planned as well;
Sun; NM Wine Festival!
Tues night; sister's post-baby baby shower.
Fri/Sat nights; my old dance studio is doing their yearly recital so i'll go to watch/help out
I'm also just going to enjoy my family and the sunshine! Go out to eat a lot and get my fill of *really* good Mexican food! Play with my bff and get some girl time!
After the 2 days i've had at work i sooooooooo can't wait to not be here!!

Finally! A Married Bio!!
Tomorrow, DH took off so we'll be hanging out, plus he needs to go pick up a tux for the wedding he's in this Sunday. Tomorrow night, Sasha and I are going over to my parents' house for my sister's birthday party, while DH will be out for the b-party.
Saturday morning (when DH gets home), I'm off to get a haircut/mani/pedi, then we're going to the rehearsal dinner.Sunday's the wedding day, DH is going there early in the day, since he's the BM, I'm having my dad drive me there (yes, I still don't drive, lame). Monday, I hope hope hope we'll just hang out (maybe a small trip to BRU) and maybe barbecue a little.

Bubblegum Explosion
DH & I both have off tomorrow! yay! we're planning to take MetroNorth up to Beacon for a day hike. We're both super excited - we've decided to get into hiking/backpacking this summer and this is our first outing.
Sat: home stuff - cleaning, errands, cooking for the next week
Sun & Monday: home and relaxing! we're both off so there will be lots of hanging out at home and such.
Also somewhere in that time frame I have some DIY projects - repotting some seedlings & making window shelving for said plants.
Thanks to my nose, I had to turn down a bunch of bellydance gigs for this weekend, AND I can't really lounge in the sun. So, I have a pretty chill weekend, which is fine by me!
Tonight - dinner with DH and then watching SYTYCD from last night. I was out with a friend so I DVR'd it.
Saturday - a trip to my favorite place - HOME GOODS! Woo hoo! I want to buy a storage ottoman and then work on decorating the bedroom. Saturday night we will stay in because I need to grade some papers (final grades are due soon)
Sunday - possibly drive out to the Hamptons for DH's friends bbq at her summer house. I think it will be a disaster with the traffic, DH thinks it will be "fun". We'll see. Otherwise we go to my parent's house to watch the College Point Memorial Day parade (Mayor Bloomberg is usually the grand marshal, so that's cool), have a bbq and hang out at my parent's pool.
Monday - don't know yet! Probably just stuff around the house.
Tonight I am going out with one of my best friends from college and our two friends who we are trying to set up. They are both so nervous. It is really cute! The guy is even wearing a tie. J
Tomorrow we are going to look at dresses with my friend who is getting married next march! I cant wait to see her in a big fluffy white dress.
Sunday we are going to either have a BBQ at our house or at a local park depending on the weather.
Monday I am working on a project that I have to finish by Tuesday.

DH and I decided (during this week sometime) we would head to Lancaster/Hershey for the extended weekend...sounds good to me! So, tomorrow we will be getting up bright and early for the 3 hour ride. We'll spend the day in Lancaster (going through shops and what not) and then we have reservations for a dinner/show at night. Sunday we will go to Hershey for the day and we'll head home Monday after breakfast.
