I'm organizing a conference that we are holding at UNM, which means I will be living out of a hotel in Abq for a little over a week....
Would anyone like to get together while I'm there? I'll be free the evenings of 5/28,29,31 and 6/3. Maybe we can do dinner or something (anything)?

Re: GTG take 2
I would love to get together. I'm off to MT for a conference from May 31-June 4, but the earlier date syou mentioned will fit in my schedule. WHat part of town/what hotel will you be at? That will give me some idea of what is close to you so we can prevent running all over town.
Anyplace you been dying to go to?

I just got invited to go see No Doubt on the 28th too!
Maybe the 29th would work if you don't mind rearranging Duff? I have to be at the conference until 9pm on the 30th, so that is probably out. I'll be spending my days at UNM and nights at a hotel near the airport (I'm paranoid about posting which on the internet, I can email it to you).

I don't care where we go...do you have any favorites out here since you're not here all the time?
I can go either way w/drinks. I'll prob be in a drunken stupor until my $%*&#(% score comes out anyway...

I wouldn't mind Old Town. I'm too cheap to drink heavily when I'm out - I can drink cheaper at home!
The places in Old Town that Old Town has Seasons (nice patio that is perfect for the weather as long as it doesn't rain), Melting Pot, High Noon, Church Street Cafe, Casa Antiquity, ST Claire Winery & Bistro, Neds on RIo Grande and Q Bar/the place in the old Sheraton. St Cloud & Church St are the most pocketbook friendly.
And I can always beg Nikhil to be designated driver for us - he could drive us all home...

I think I'm obligated to like any place called Claire's
What time do you think would be good?
Sounds like St Clair is a go. My train gets into downtown at 5:35ish. So if I take the bus, I can be there around 6pm. Or if I walk home and grab the car, it's more like 6:30ish to get back to Old Town.
When are you done with the conference for the day?
