Hi Abbie...I saw your questions about Valley View Alliance so I'd thought I'd page you with the answers. I started going about 2-3 years ago and go to the early service so I don't know as many people as I would if I went to the later service. The early service averages 50 people (it starts at 8!). We sing worship songs in the beginning with the worship team...instruments usually include guitar, drums, and keyboard. Usually once a month the youth band leads worship and they generally "rock out" more than the traditional team. We then sing 2 more traditional hymns during the service with a piano. The 10:30 service is always full from what I hear with about 150-200 people in attendance. I'm a bad judge of ages of people but there seem to be a lot of couples with kids from nursery to elementary age through high school. The youth group is large as well. You're young than me (I'm almost 35) so I don't know how many folks are in their 20's. We have a men's ministry and women's ministry an active youth groups. We also have Awana during the school year and a large VBS program that draws about 150 kids for a week in June. I teach Jr. church about once a month and have also been teaching Sunday school for the 2nd and 3rd grades. I really like the pastor. His message are down to earth and relevant.
Hope that helps! If you ever want to try a service, let me know. I'd be happy to go to the 10:30 service so it's not so early
