anyone have any creative gift ideas for teachers? I dont want to do the norm...
Re: Teachers gifts
Do you know what the teacher's interests are outside of school?
?And really, giftcards to various places, movie tickets and stuff like that is fine by me. ?I don't expect to get gifts, so really, anything you do (creative or not) will be GREATLY appreciated.?
Any gifts are great and appreciated! Even when I get a gift I don't really like, I know that I made enough of an influence on the kid that they wanted to show appreciation and it is a great feeling!
I love to get starbucks cards, or Barnes and Noble cards, also kids books for my classroom library, just give a gift receipt too if you do that in case she already has the book.
Baked goods are good and personal.
I don't like any teacher kitchy stuff, or bath products, unless it's from Bath and Body Works so I can exchange it for a scent I like.
I got both the boys teachers, the director and the assistant director each a bottle of wine, it was a big hit!
Oh who doesn't love a good gift card. It could be fun if you put it in a theme. Example: Popcorn bucket, candy, movie giftcard (Dollar Tree has cute popcorn buckets and movie size candy) Costco has two movie tickets to cinemark cheaper than the acual theatre.
Coffee mug, biscotti, and Starbucks gift card
Basket with Magazines rolled, book light, and Barnes and Noble Gift card.
Meagan-
I suggest anything other than candles or Bath and Body Works. Those are great gift items too, of course, I just always had a big collection of that stuff from teacher gifts. I always enjoyed gift cards of course. One year i got a cute "foil packet" cookbook and some foil and seasoning packets and spatula and stuff. That was fun and unique. Mani/pedi gc's were always nice. Once some of my class got together and gave ?me a wknd at t hotel and dinner- that was fantastic. Anything is always appreciated of course. I'd just suggest not candles, bath and body stuff, or anything like "teachery" decor.?
