Fellow photogs

I noticed some of you are taking a class. Is it with a certain school? Or independent? My google searches are not giving me jack.

Re: Fellow photogs

  • E-mail me and/or tater.  We will tell you there.
  • what the monkey said.  oh, and i'm not a photog.  just a potato with a fancy camera.  the class is helping, though. ;)
  • Can someone please email me the info. I have a Nikon D40 and have been looking to take a class. I've mastered auto but could use more instruction regarding manual. TIA!

    This.

  • It's a trek, but Santa Monica College has a world class photography program and they offer community classes. Some of the community class instructors are kinda crappy, but any of you are ever interested I can recommend the good instructors.

Freestyle Photo, Samy's, Calumet, and Julia Dean also offer great workshops that are low cost (minus Julia Dean). Samys has an OC location too.

  • I recently took a photography class at UC Irvine extension. It was very helpful to learn how the fancy camera functions operate and the instructor, Craig Fucile, was great. I also enjoyed that the class was relatively small, about 10 people, so we each had plenty of individual attention paid to us.
  • wan/tater - could I get the info as well? nooshm at gmail
