pardon my absence.... please
I was in Fort Bragg on a training mission for about 10 days. On the final day of our training mission I recieved word about the seahawk helicopter crash in San Diego.
I am numb and sick to my stomach. My ex-husband called me to tell me that 2 of our old friends were on board... I went to our "cruise book", which is like a yearbook that the ship puts out that has everyones names and pictures in it. I stared and stared at their faces. they are dead. it's a little surreal.
The pilot friend, he has a baby. A baby baby... I think the baby MIGHT maybe be 2 months old.
In my 11 years in this profession, these people mark the 3rd and 4th, "friend/ coworker of mine" to die in a crash. Very sad.
Please keep their families in your prayers. Eric Purvis was a good man, a good pilot and and a new dad.

hey jennnnay! Funny story, while i was checking my gmail to see if erin got my registration thingy, I saw that my photographer emailed me on MAY 16th, she has the proofs ready.

I can only get on the new board at work...and most of the time I never have time to get on there...my wireless connection at home is blocking the new forum...but there are a couple who don't want me on there anyway...so its all good.
