...for the Memorial Day festivities.

I miss it so much! My parents live off of Main Street in Boalsburg, and they're down walking around the Diamond, etc. Sigh!

Missing holiday events/traditions are always the worst! I know in Maryland it has been a rainy afternoon, and our picnic got rained on

Lindyanne--enjoy Rita's! I've been craving it and we didn't get there today like we had planned! Have you tried their orange cream/coffee custard? Sounds really bizarre I know, but I love it! Hope bedrest is going as smoothly as it can for you!
The orange cream sounds really good. I am not a coffee fan though. I always end up getting the same thing - mango gelati. It's my fav.
Being able to work a tiny bit (which hopefully my dr oks...i am just doing email while i'm lying in bed so it shouldn't matter. it's either that or finding mindless websites to waste time on), get out to the gym (skipped today but went the last four days), and having DH around (he works from home) is helping a lot. 6 days down now.....??? to go
DH is going to go get me a chaise lounge so I can lie outside some too. Our ground is really hard (packed down dirt from the new house) so it would be crazy uncomfortable to lie down on unless I took out like 20 blankets and stacked them up.
Well, I'll tell you that it was terrible...just to make you feel better!
My friend lives right off Main St. and always has a parade watching party on Saturday. We went to that and then I won $9 playing bingo at the carnival - woohoo!!
It must be difficult to be so far away from your family. You are coming home again soon though right?

We are coming back to PA this weekend actually - but not to State College/Boalsburg, unfortunately.
Just to Clarion where DH's fam is, for his little sister's HS graduation.
